What a treat to spend a morning with this little guy and his Mommy & Daddy! These big blue eyes seem too beautiful to be true, but they are. His Mommy is the pianist in the family... but he may catch up some day, my heart melted when I saw him standing at the piano!

Matilda Jane's new Spring line House of Clouds is officially here! As part of the celebration they are holding a Photolove contest to find their favorite photographers... and I am soooo happy to have been included!

There were over 1000 photographers from around the world and they chose about 50 of their favorites to participate in the next round and ABP was selected! Next they sent clothes for us to photograph... We had a fun session this past weekend and then sent in one image for them to choose the final 10. We had a blustery Colorado day to contend with- windy & cold, but the girls were fun-loving little stars! Here is a little sample of what we did that day...

So, there was an 80% chance of rain on the evening of Miss K's senior portrait session, but she is such a busy girl we went ahead and made it work... and wow, did it work! What a little sweetie... I have been looking forward to seeing little Miss R since we did a session together last year, she is just as adorable and full of personality as I remember. We took a trip to the park and then to Lola's Sugar Rush in Littleton to shower her with treats and get some sweet images in the process!

This sweet little one was only 8 days old for his newborn photo session! I cut a vacation short to get home in time to catch this sleepy baby stage... even at this young age, he noticed everything around him and we had to wait it out to get him to sleep. His beautiful Mommy knitted this little peanut wrap, seen at the bottom, which makes it even that much more special!

I recently received a call from the Denver A List people, they wanted to deliver an award for winning "Best Portrait Photographer" for 2009 , so I figured I would take a picture of it to share... I just got back from an amazing weekend trip to Washington DC for a photography workshop with Brianna Graham. It was just the exciting kick-off to senior portrait season that I was hoping it would be!
